Knowledge about infectious diseases
helps people protect their health
and that of those around them.
It helps people to be better global citizens.

Why isn't learning about epidemics and
infectious diseases
a part of health
class in high school? We think it should be.

Also, after September 11, we all need to be
more aware of how infectious diseases
can be spread through human populations.

I think that every
high school health class
should include a section on
epidemics and infectious diseases.

I think that high schools should offer
at least a half-semester devoted to studying
infectious diseases and epidemics.

I think learning about infectious diseases
should be mandatory.

I think that the present level of education
about infectious diseases is sufficient.
