This expedition has gotten off to a great start. I am looking forward to the things to come.

Today Catherine came in and shared only a small part of her extensive knowledge. Her presentation opened my eyes to how many infectious diseases there are in the world and how lucky people are to live in Montana. The speaker talked about vectors, antigens, and antibodies. She also enlightened us of vaccinations and precautions. One very interesting thing I learned was what montezuma's revenge was and how to protect yourself, or myself from the condition.
