"This game brought all the lessons together." - Cody

If infectious diseases are so terrible (and some of them are),
then why do they persist, even thrive? This game showed why.

1. People don't realize that they taking risks with diseases.

2. People don't realize that they are putting others at risk.

3. People underestimate how serious diseases can be.

4. Profit helps blind people to the degree of risk.

5. Some people choose profit over the risk of disease,
because profit actually pays off better for them.

The game also represented that the poorer people
of the world have fewer options when it comes to disease.
Ridding themselves of disease is often beyond their control.
