As Director of MSU's Mountain Research Center, Dr. Lisa J. Graumlich combines her career-long interest in mountain regions with her concerns for sustainability. The focus of her work is treeline, the boundary between forest and tundra on high mountains, in order to understand how climate change affects forests. Dr. Graumlich is also active in developing programs that address critical questions of global environmental change.
